General Guidelines

  • Orders containing microspheres with US destinations ship Monday through Thursday.
  • Orders containing microspheres with Europe and APAC destinations ship Friday from the US.
  • Orders containing microspheres with Japan destinations ship Thursday.
  • Orders containing microspheres with other international destinations ship Monday through Wednesday and Friday.
  • Guidelines do not apply if the items are on backorder.

Reagent Shipping Guidelines

  • MicroPlex® Microspheres regions 1-100; 1, 4, & 16 ml volumes will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order. We guarantee a 6 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • MagPlex® Microspheres MAGPIX® & Luminex® 100/200™ regions; 1 & 4 ml volumes will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order. We guarantee a 6 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • MagPlex Microspheres FLEXMAP 3D® regions; 1 ml volume will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order. We guarantee a 3 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • Magplex Avidin: All MagPlex®-Avidin Microspheres will ship with no less than a 3 month shelf-life. Actual shelf-life remaining on product received will vary and depend on available inventory. Luminex cannot guarantee customers will receive product with a specific shelf-life other than the minimums stated here. Please see product part numbers below before placing your order to see which regions are compatible with your instrument.
  • MagPlex® Monitoring Microspheres; 1 mL volume will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order. We guarantee a 3 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • Calibration Kits and Verification Kits for MAGPIX®, Luminex® 100/200™, FLEXMAP 3D®, and xMAP INTELLIFLEX® will generally ship within 3 business days after entry of the order. We guarantee a 6 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • LumAvidin® Microspheres will generally ship within 6 weeks. If the item is in inventory, the order will ship within 3 business days. We guarantee a 3 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • SeroMAP™ Microspheres will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order. We guarantee a 6 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • MagPlex-TAG™ products will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order for part numbers MTAG-AXXX and MTAG-BXXX, and we guarantee a 6 month shelf life from the shipment date. Part numbers MTAG-CXXX are built-to-order and we guarantee a 3 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • Sheath Fluid PLUS 20L volume will generally ship within 3 business days via ground. We guarantee a 6  month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • Sheath Concentrate PLUS 1L volume will generally ship within 3 business days via ground. We guarantee a 3 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • MAGPIX Drive Fluid PLUS 4 Pack will generally ship within 3 business days via ground. We guarantee a 6 month shelf life from the shipment date.
  • xMAP® Salmonella Serotyping Assay Kit and Assay Buffer will generally ship within 3 business days after the entry of the order. Salmonella Serotyping Assay Kit and Assay Buffer are separate orderable part numbers, however Assay Buffer is provided with the kit as a courtesy. As a result, the expiration dating for the 2 items are independent and will differ. The minimum remaining expiration dating at the point of shipment for the Salmonella Serotyping Assay Kit will be no less than 6 months. The minimum remaining expiration dating at the point of shipment for the Assay Buffer will be no less than 3 months.
